How To Have A Body Positive Holiday

1) GO TO THE BEACH 🏖
Don’t sit at home whilst your friends go have fun. Yes, there are more people at the beach but they are focused on their life. If they stare at you, let them stare, they are strangers you are never going to see again!

2) PUT THE BIKINI ON 👙
If you don’t want to wear a bikini, that’s OK but if the reason you don’t want to wear it is because of your body, fuck that! Take it from a person who didn’t wear bikinis for 21 years! You give those two pieces of material way more power if you don’t wear it!

3) GET IN THE POOL 🏊‍♂️ I really don’t care if you have to get in the pool wearing a T-shirt. Your body deserves the blissful feeling of cool water on your skin on a hot day

4) BE IN THE PICTURES 📷
Stop being the one taking the photos! Remember these are pictures of your memories, not your body!

5) EAT THE ICE CREAM 🍦
There’s no better way to ruin a holiday than by calorie counting and restricting. You shouldn’t be doing it anyway, but DEFINITELY don’t do it on holiday! It’s not a treat, it’s not an indulgence, it’s not a luxury, it’s life.

6) DITCH THE MAKEUP 💄
What better place to try to disentangle your attachment to your makeup when you are in a place where no one knows you! Your loved ones don’t care (or at least they shouldn’t!) and use that extra hour every day for extra funs. For my trip to Ibiza, I didn’t even pack any. I used the extra space in my bag for shopping instead 💁🏻‍♀️🔥 Let’s make this a summer you won’t forget #ScarredNotScared
