Here’s a list of things you know about me:
– My name is Michelle
– I am half British and half Chinese
– I am 24 years old
– I have a psychology degree
– I am a 5 board accredited life coach
– I have had 15 surgeries, a brain tumour, a punctured intestine, an obstructed Bowel, a cyst in my brain and a condition called hydrocephalus
– I am fat, size 20, not able bodied and have scars all over my body
And whilst all of that is great, all of that is far from who I am. The list above -those are my labels but they are not me. Want to know me?
– I am a dog person through and through
– I melt around all babies and children and always wanted to be working with children in some capacity
– I eat my magnums, chocolate first and then I throw away the ice cream. Yes I know it’s a crime
– I am addicted to Grey’s Anatomy, anything Shonda Rhimes and suits
– I am known in my friendship groups for my horrendous first date stories and my attention grabbing laugh
– I am a horrendous light weight but my party trick is a strawpedo (look it up if you don’t know what it is). I have bet a tattoo on it and my record is 3 seconds
– I love quickly and fall hard in love and friendships
– I am most at peace around water
– None of my friends will watch “The Fault In Our Stars” because of how much I cry… they can’t hear the film
– I can’t sing. I once got banned from a compulsory singing competition in school
That’s it for now but just remember to see past people’s labels. It’s these quirks which make us special! #ScarredNotScared
